River is designed to be a safe space for honest reflection. Your privacy is a core principle of how River operates.

What we collect

River stores the reflections, conversations, and entries you voluntarily share within the app. Your account email and name are used for identification and personalization only.

How your data is protected

• • River never sells or shares your reflections for advertising or marketing.
• • Only you can access your reflections within River.

How data is stored

Your data is stored securely on the Base44 platform. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard TLS/SSL encryption. Access to the database is restricted by Row-Level Security, ensuring only you can read your own reflections.

Data processing

When you interact with River's AI, your conversation is sent to a language model to generate a response. This processing occurs only for the purpose of fulfilling your request. Your data is not retained by the AI provider for training or any other purpose.

Third-party access

River does not share your personal reflections with third parties for marketing, advertising, or analysis. Data is only processed as necessary to deliver River's features.

In rare circumstances, data may only be accessed if legally required or for critical platform maintenance, following Base44's security policies.

Your rights

You remain the owner of your data. You can permanently delete your reflection history or your entire account at any time through the Privacy & Data section in Settings.
